IP-4, a quad-port GbE iSCSI storage solution designed for high-impact and
high-volume network storage environments. The UltraStor™ RS8 IP-4 offers
expandability & scalability by connecting to four more RS16 JS enterprise JBOD
storage that greatly reduced the overall cost of ownership. The new expansion
capability enables customers to increase the capacity of their SAN environment in a
simple and flexible manner as both SAS and SATA drives can be deployed within the
same RAID protected volume to optimize the overall SAN design for a wide variety of

The UltraStor™ RS8 IP-4 is a 2U 8-drive enterprise-grade independent RAID system
that is designed for the most performance-driven 15K SAS and cost-effective 3Gbps
SATA disks. Its speed, scalability, reliability and functionality provide a perfect
blend of performance, RAID protected and easy to use interface which is ideal for
centralized IP SAN storage. The UltraStor™ RS8 IP-4 brings enterprise RAID features,
such as, RAID-6, Snapshot, WebGUI management, and affordable iSCSI SAN solution to
the existing networks and it offers a variety of management options to keep pace
with the workflow, and can complete a self-configuration in minutes using the front
LCD control panel, as well as inspect or reconfigure through a connection remotely.

The UltraStor™ RS8 IP-4 supports up to eight 1TB SATA II drives and is powered by a
cutting edge Intel based 64-bit RAID engine with up to 2GB cache which maximizes
disk performance allowing for a broader range of storage possibilities. The
UltraStor™ RS8 IP-4 is an ideal solution for server storage such as Microsoft
Exchange & SQL Server, as well as professional storage applications such as
Disk-to-Disk backup, database pools, near line editing, medical imaging, video
streaming, media & asset management libraries and centralized shared SAN.
